From Yoga Mats to Breakfast Plates: Daily Prana & The Dhaba Turn 7

Today marks Daily Prana and The Dhaba’s 7th anniversary—and Ralph and I made sure we didn’t miss it. In fact, we were the first yogis to arrive (look at us, overachievers). When we walked in, we spotted Jayna and Jen showing a young man around, and later I found out he was a blogger. Of course—what’s a celebration without someone documenting every grain of rice and every down dog?

Yoga with a Twist (and a Photographer)

Yoga started promptly at 7:30 AM, and guess what—we had an official photographer snapping away while we were stretching, twisting, and trying not to look like crumpled laundry. I had actually cornered him earlier with one humble request: “Please, no unflattering yoga shots.”

Plot twist: the guy turned out to be someone we already hung out with last MassKara! He’s even in Ralph’s Facebook friends list. Small world, or Bacolod just really isn’t that big.

The Anniversary Breakfast

After yoga, we moved to the old Dhaba spot—now called The Shala—for the anniversary breakfast. Let me tell you: there was food. A lot of food. I mean, I almost needed another yoga session just to digest it all.

From a dream to a sanctuary—thank you for making this space a home of healing. What started as a vision to heal hearts and uplift souls has grown into a home of love, hope, and transformation. 🌿✨ Today, we celebrate not just an anniversary, but every story, every smile, and every journey that has walked through our doors. To our community—you are the heartbeat of this place. Here’s to more years of healing, growing, and shining together. 💚 Please like and share to spread wellness and inspiration maybe we can save lives 🙏🏻💗 #DailyPrana #Wellness #Anniversary #Holistic #Celebration

We had originally planned to skip the long hangout because Ralph and I had a 1 PM Reiki event. But since the breakfast ended early, we sprinted home, took the fastest shower known to mankind, and bolted right back to Prana. (Talk about commitment. Or maybe just caffeine kicking in.)

Reiki, Familiar Faces & Friendly Envy

I was the first to get a client, and you’ll never guess who it was—the photographer himself, Miguel Brito! Yep, from yoga mat to Reiki table, he got the full Daily Prana experience. Ralph and LG joined me in healing, and LG looked absolutely stunning. She’s lost so much weight that I’m both proud and jealous—meanwhile, I’ve been inhaling snacks like it’s an Olympic sport.

After Miguel, I had another client—a friend of Mai’s (Mai Lacson)—for Reiki. By the end of it all, the room was practically glowing, and so were we.

Why This Anniversary Felt Different

Usually, anniversaries here are celebrated with a big dinner. But ever since the renovation after the fire, the space has become smaller, so this time it was all about the breakfast and community vibe. And honestly? I loved it. The morning light, the yoga energy, the Reiki healing—it felt so right.

I walked away grateful, lighter, and proud to have been a channel for someone’s restoration of peace and balance today. Happy 7th Anniversary, Daily Prana & The Dhaba! Here’s to many more years of yoga mats, overflowing food tables, and beautiful souls finding their light.
