Clueless and Paranoid

I just finished eating my lunch consisting of the following:

  • 1 sliced toasted bread
  • tocino (around 4 pieces I think)
  • 2 sliced mangoes
  • 1 glass of fit ‘n right

Yes I am still on my diet and am supposed to be following the 3-Day Military Diet but I decided to just make my own modifications. My husband says that if I am not happy with my diet system, that I’m more likely to not stick with it and I must admit that there are foods in the Military Diet that are not even available here, even its substitutes. My cousin, Ziphora from Bohol is probably going to berate me as soon as she stumbles upon this blog entry. She’s been helping me out on this road to fitness journey and has been very strict when it comes to what I actually stuff in my mouth.

I can’t say that my diet isn’t working. When I first started out I was actually 209 lbs and I have lost 9lbs since then. I guess if I did adhere to the strict Military diet, I would have lost more but that is really not the issue. I want to lose weight alright, but I want to do it in such a way that’s going to be long lasting.

Forget about my diet for now, I went to do some grocery shopping a couple of days ago at a local supermarket. After getting myself a big grocery cart and headed to the meat section, I passed by a group of young women who were in line to pay in the “cash-only” cashier where I overheard one of them say something like “That’s her! I see her all the time in….” but the words became unclear as I continued heading to the back. I didn’t know who they were talking about, but I swear to God they said that as soon as they saw me. One of them even attempted to smile at me but I was in a rush to start putting stuffs in my cart.

I also do not post pictures of myself on Facebook or Instagram. I mean I do intend to do so if I have lost a lot of weight but that’s not going to happen anytime soon!

That really made me so paranoid. Were they talking about me? If they were, where could they have supposedly seen me all the time? I know I don’t always post videos on YouTube! I mean I do, but not of myself but of my pets! I also do not post pictures of myself on Facebook or Instagram. I mean I do intend to do so if I have lost a lot of weight but that’s not going to happen anytime soon! I sure hope that are no naked photos of me elsewhere! Not that I posted photos of that sort but you know how technology is nowadays; people can just take someone’s head and Photoshop it over a naked person’s body. Some has even done that in a video which explains these fake celebrity scandals.

I talked to Ralph about it as soon as I got home. He just laughed it off saying I was worrying over nothing. He said it could be the “The Birds Corner” Facebook page because I have a lot of videos there taken with my pets. I considered the possibility but then, how could the kids have supposedly seen that all the time? It’s not like I paid Facebook to advertise it.

I guess it’s just me. I have this tendency to worry too much. But if you’re reading this and may have any knowledge about the issue, please shed some light by commenting. That would truly ease my worries.
