Ah, Saturdays—the cherished oasis in the desert of our busy week. Last Saturday, however, was not just any ordinary Saturday; it was a day filled with yoga, Reiki, and unexpected cocktail delights.

The Morning Stretch

Our day kicked off with a refreshing yoga session. There’s something magical about starting the day with a good stretch, especially when you can finally touch your toes without feeling like you’re auditioning for a Cirque du Soleil act. The poses felt like hugs from an old friend. I could almost hear my muscles sighing in relief.

Reiki Healing: Special Guest Appearance

Following our zen-like yoga session, we transitioned into a Reiki healing event. This wasn’t just any Reiki session; it was special because my best friend, Janice Lopez, was one of the clients for the first time! Janice drove all the way from Hinigaran to Bacolod, making her entrance like a rock star arriving at a concert. Ralph, one of our Reiki Masters, was all set to work his magic on her.

A Night Out: Plot Twist

After the healing event, Ralph and I decided to have dinner at Portiko Lounge. We had high hopes for a fantastic night out. Portiko Lounge, with its inviting ambiance and delicious menu, did not disappoint. We indulged in a sumptuous dinner, each bite better than the last. The food was divine, and the conversation even better.

Cocktails at Al Forno

With our stomachs happily full, we decided to give in to our friend Jusha’s invitation to come to Al Forno, the newly opened restaurant owned by our friend Bing Gilbor. Not for dinner this time, but for some delightful cocktails. The place was buzzing with energy, and the cocktails were nothing short of spectacular. Each drink was a work of art, perfectly crafted to end our evening on a high note.

The Best Night Ever

Sometimes the best nights are the ones you don’t plan. Our evening, which started with high hopes at Portiko Lounge and ended with delicious cocktails at Al Forno, turned out to be one of the best nights of our lives. Good food, great company, and laughter that echoed through the night—what more could we ask for?

So, here’s to Saturdays that start with yoga, heal with Reiki, and end with unexpected adventures. Cheers to living life one fabulous moment at a time!
