This year’s anniversary celebration of The Dhaba and Daily Prana was nothing short of epic! We left Hinigaran around 1 pm and checked into Sukro Hotel before heading to David’s Salon. What was supposed to be Ralph’s haircut turned into me getting my hair layered too—why not prep early for the party, right? Next, we hit up Starbucks SM for coffee, but let me tell you, Ayala Starbucks absolutely blows SM out of the water! Their coffee? Chef’s kiss, pure perfection!

Then things took a comedic turn. Heading back to Sukro, we followed a truck down what we thought was the usual route to Ayala, only to be hilariously reprimanded by a traffic enforcer—classic! We weren’t the only ones who messed up; there was a whole convoy of confused cars behind us!

Intentionally arriving late at Daily Prana (not trying to give any impromptu speeches here!), we ran into power couple Dr. Lenchen and Miles Abello right at the door, though they disappeared later. I heard Miles noped out when he realized we had to strike a pose upon entrance—totally relatable. No offense to Master G, but it was hotter than a Bikram yoga class inside The Dhaba, and guess who forgot her fan? This girl! Despite the sauna-level heat, the event was amazing. Local celebrity and fellow Daily Prana member Jai Agpangan made an appearance, and Jubert Guevarra Monserate’s band rocked the night. And let’s not forget the fantastic photos by Jed Alcala!

Overall, this anniversary was one for the books—definitely one of the best nights of my life, heat and all!
